The product range of FAT is based on sustainable and innovative production path that secure safety and traceability. Regular trials are conducted by customers and renowned universities to assure product development and extend its application field.
These key aspects of the feed business enables FAT to be always up-to-date of market evolutions and to offer a high added value to its products.
Colours are widely present in the animal kingdom, playing an important biological role and are linked to the presence of Carotenoids. Carotenoids have always been part of the daily diet of animals and humans. With the development of optimized animal nutrition, the industry created tools to formulate their feed at the best costs to provide animals with required nutrients. Carotenoids are included in the feed as part of the nutrients that support animal health, as well as product quality.
ApoEplus®10% consists of orange-red, free-flowing beadlets. Each individual beadlet contains ethyl 8’-apo-Beta-caroten-8’-oate dispersed finely in polysaccharides-porcine gelatine protective matrix. Ethoxyquin and ascorbyl palmitate are added as antioxidants.
ApoEplus®10S consists of orange-red, free-flowing beadlets. Each individual beadlet contains apocarotenoic ester in a starch coated organic matrix of lignosulfonate-polysaccharide and plant-polymer. Ethoxyquin, vitamin E acetate and ascorbyl palmitate are added as antioxidants.
AstaPlus 10% consist of 3,3’ – dihydroxy- Beta-carotene-4, 4’-dione in astarch coated organic matrix of gelatine-polysaccharides and can be used as feed additive for salmon and crustaceans pigementation.
Canthaplus 10% is the product of choice for the feed industry. The high purity canthaxanthin is finely emulsified with antioxidants and dispersed carefully in a protective matrix.
The revolutionary fine emulsion of canthaxanthin allows an optimum absorption of the carotenoids in the digestive tract resulting in a higher deposition rate of canthaxanthin in target sites. The product is manufactured by the spray-dried coating technology and the use of antioxidants protects the conjugated double bond structure of the canthaxanthin molecule from oxidative decomposition when exposed to air, heat and humidity and gives superior stability properties.
The protective matrix is based on GMO free polysaccharides and provides full protection against physical constrains occurring with high-speed mixer or during pelleting or extruding of feed. Canthaplus 10% can disperse in water and is good for post pelleting or post extrusion applications.
Canthaplus® 10S consists of reddish brown, free-flowing beadlets. Each individual beadlet contains canthaxanthin in a starch coated organic matrix of lignosulfonate-polysaccharide and plant-polymer. Ethoxyquin, vitamin E acetate and ascorbyl palmitate are added as antioxidants.
It is a red to reddish-brown, free-flowing powder. Each individual beadlet contains beta-carotene in astarch coated organic matrix of gelatine-polysaccharides that is protected by antioxidants.
